Tuesday Start Time Now 8:15 PM
Starting September 22, our start time changes to 8:15 on Tuesday nights because youth hockey practice runs until 8:00. We will start the 50 minute clock at 8:15 sharp, so make sure you are ready to go then. The Zamboni will start the ice cut around 8:00, so there will be about 5 minutes to warm up the goalies before play begins.
CIP Adult Leagues
The deadline to sign up to play in the Charlottesville Ice Park's fall 2009 adult hockey leagues is Saturday, September 5. Visit the Ice Park's web site to download the registration form, or contact Hockey Director Jennifer Blanchard at 434-817-2400.
Friday Morning Drop-In Hockey
Didn't make the roster for Sperry's hockey game? Don't forget that the Charlottesville Ice Park still has drop-in hockey on Friday mornings starting at 6:30 AM and running until 8:20 AM. It's the grand-daddy of hockey drop-in sessions at the Ice Park, having been offered at that time slot since the it first opened in 1996. Admission for Drop-In Hockey is $12.00.
